Danish sustainable acoustic solutions provider Troldtekt has opened a new £21m state-of- the-art production facility in West Denmark allowing it to double its capacity of wood wool panelling per year.
Making use of the latest innovations and energy-efficient processes, the 13,000 square metre factory uses computer-controlled and robot technology to minimise its environmental impact across all aspects of the operation – from the wood-shaving plant to the fabrication and manufacture.
Sustainability has always formed the backbone of the company’s ethos and the business was founded on the precepts of Cradle to Cradle manufacturing and is certified to Silver Level.
