Skanska will be responsible for the expansion of the longest national road in Poland.
The contract for National Road No 8 is worth PLN 335 million (about £60 million).
It refers to an eight-mile stretch between Wyszków near Warsaw and Podlaskie Voivodship near the Eastern border.
The contract includes construction of the express road, three road junctions, crossings and viaducts, and animal passages.
The national road stretches 500 miles from the Czech border to the border with Lithuania and is Poland’s section of the international route E67.
Work is expected to be completed in July 2018.
