Leading steel window manufacturer Crittall has had its expertise in ‘Duplex ‘galvanizing protection -where paint is factory applied as a topcoat to a galvanized product -recognised with an award from The Galvanizers Association.
Crittall won ‘ Best Duplex ‘ in the Association’s 2013 Annual Competition for the hot rolled galvanized steel profiles and cold-formed galvanized steel doors it supplied during the refurbishment of the iconic Falmer House at the University of Sussex.
The building, which houses various University services and the University of Sussex Student Union, was designed by the world renowned architect Sir Basil Spence in the 1960s.
Speaking after receiving the prestigious award Paul Smith Technical Manager at Crittall said
