Sea Containers House, on the South Bank of the River Thames, is to become the location for a new 360-bed luxury hotel under Morgans Hotel Group’s Mondrian brand. The hotel will form part of an overall refurbishment of the prominent 1970s landmark, a development which is also set to include new build and refurbished office and retail accommodation. The below ground areas will include a new spa and gym, while meeting and function spaces are located centrally to take advantage of some of the existing building’s largest internal volumes.
